Description
An enamel camp mug made the way they used to be made — heavy-gauge steel core, double-coated speckled cream enamel, a thin brass-color band rolled around the lip. Sized at 12oz, balanced for one-handed grip whether you’re at the campfire or at the kitchen counter on a Tuesday morning.
The maker’s seal — the Field & Cairn cairn emblem — is fired into the enamel as a glazed transfer on the front face. It’s not painted on the surface, so it won’t scratch or fade no matter how many trips it takes. The brass rim band wraps the entire lip and gives the mug the heritage outdoor-club feel we wanted from the first prototype.
Specs: 12 fluid ounces, steel core with double-coated enamel, brass-color rim band, dishwasher-safe but hand-washing recommended to preserve the rim, food-grade enamel rated to 500°F oven and -40°F freezer.
Care: Hand-wash with a soft sponge to preserve the rim. Avoid metal utensils against the enamel surface. Small chips are part of the patina; the steel core won’t rust through under normal use.
