Stainless Hip Flask — Leather Wrap

Description

A proper hip flask, sized at 6oz to slip into an inside jacket pocket without printing. The body is brushed 18/8 stainless steel, the cap is captive on a short 1″ solid brass chain so it doesn’t get lost on the trail, and the entire outer surface is wrapped in saddle leather hand-stitched in our workshop.

The leather wrap carries a gold-foil debossed Field & Cairn cairn seal on the front face, about 25% of the flask width — visible whenever the flask is set down. The leather will darken and develop a deeper patina with handling.

Specs: 6 fl oz, 18/8 stainless interior, saddle-leather exterior wrap, captive screw-cap with brass chain, hand-stitched leather seam. Made in Colorado; stainless body from a fabricator in Pennsylvania.

Care: Rinse the interior with hot water after every use; do not put in dishwasher (will discolor the leather wrap). Wipe the leather with a dry cloth; condition every six to nine months with Saphir Renovateur if it starts to look dry. Not intended for hot liquids.
