Description
Merino wool trail socks knit at a mid-weight gauge — enough cushion under the heel and ball of the foot for long days on trail or on hard floors, light enough to fit in a low-cut hiking boot or a leather oxford. The stripe pattern uses undyed cream and naturally-dark charcoal merino, so the colors won’t fade over wash cycles.
The cuff carries a small woven label with the Field & Cairn cairn seal in forest-green thread on a cream cotton ground. A reinforced heel and toe extends the working life of the sock; the rest is open-knit for breathability.
Specs: 80% merino wool / 18% nylon / 2% elastane, mid-weight gauge, cushioned heel and toe, reinforced sole panel, woven brand label at cuff. Made in North Carolina.
Sizing: M (men 6-9 / women 7-10), L (men 9-12 / women 11+). Hand-wash or machine-wash cool, lay flat to dry. Avoid the dryer — merino wool felts with heat agitation.
